Job Summary


  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly quarterly and annual targets.
  • Lead mentor and evaluate a team of field sales personnel ensuring consistent performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Monitor and manage distributor networks ensuring timely order fulfillment stock availability and compliance with pricing and promotional guidelines.
  • Conduct regular field visits to retail outlets to assess product placement shelf availability promotional execution and competitive positioning.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities address underperformance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of promotional campaigns new product launches and inventory replenishment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales performance customer feedback and market intelligence.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies health and safety standards and regulatory compliance across all operations.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key retail accounts distributors and regional stakeholders to drive long-term business growth.


Requirements


  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 25 years of progressive experience in sales management within the FMCG food or beverage industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading high-performing field teams.
  • Strong knowledge of retail distribution networks supply chain logistics and inventory management.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills with proficiency in MS Excel and CRM tools.
  • Exceptional communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Delhi region and work flexible hours including weekends during peak sales periods.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced results-oriented environment with a customer-centric mindset.
