Job Summary
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly closing processes including reconciliations of bank accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/AS) and tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns including GST income tax and other statutory filings.
- Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to support financial planning and forecasting.
- Manage vendor and client invoicing payment processing and collections.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and audit trail evidence.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g. Tally QuickBooks or SAP) efficiently to streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and budget tracking.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- 25 years of professional experience in accounting preferably in a corporate or firm environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally QuickBooks or SAP.
- Strong understanding of Ind AS GST and income tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical organizational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java C or Python Experience with software development tools and methodologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication and teamwork abilities
