Job Summary

  • Provide first- second- and third-level technical support for engineering systems software and hardware platforms.
  • Diagnose troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems networks and embedded environments.
  • Collaborate with development QA and operations teams to identify and escalate bugs performance bottlenecks and system failures.
  • Document and maintain detailed incident reports troubleshooting procedures and knowledge base articles.
  • Monitor system health using monitoring tools and proactively identify potential issues before they impact operations.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents with urgency and precision.
  • Assist in the deployment configuration and maintenance of engineering tools CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable support solutions and automation scripts.
  • Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and improve system usability and reliability.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies industry trends and best practices in engineering support and system optimization.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electronics Computer Science Electrical or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • 25 years of hands-on experience in technical support systems engineering or related roles within a technology or engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems networking fundamentals and command-line tools.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles debugging techniques and version control systems (e.g. Git).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack Splunk).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell for automation and diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call support and respond to incidents outside regular business hours.
