Job Summary
- Design develop and maintain scalable secure and high-performance backend services using modern programming languages and frameworks
- Collaborate with product managers frontend engineers and DevOps teams to define prioritize and deliver new features
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity across distributed systems using relational and NoSQL databases
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures to support microservices-based applications
- Participate in code reviews technical design discussions and contribute to engineering best practices
- Monitor system health troubleshoot production issues and lead incident response when necessary
- Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated testing deployment and observability practices are in place
- Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for architectural improvements and technical innovation
Requirements
- 510 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on backend systems
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Java Python Go or
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure) containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code
- Expertise in database design and optimization (PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB or similar)
- Hands-on experience with message brokers (Kafka RabbitMQ) caching mechanisms (Redis Memcached) and distributed systems
- Solid understanding of system design scalability fault tolerance and security best practices
- Familiarity with DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines monitoring tools (Prometheus Grafana) and logging frameworks
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field
- Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and ability to thrive in a collaborative agile environment
