Job Summary

Looking for a skilled Developer to build and maintain high-performance responsive web applications. Youll work closely with product design and backend teams to deliver modern scalable front-end experiences that power Verisks data and analytics products. This role is a strong fit for an engineer who takes ownership cares about clean UI and enjoys working in a fast-moving enterprise environment.

What Youll Do

Design build and maintain web applications using and React
Develop reusable well-tested components and front-end architecture
Implement server-side rendering (SSR) static generation (SSG) and API routes for performance and SEO
Integrate with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and backend services
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into pixel-accurate accessible interfaces
Optimize applications for speed scalability and cross-browser compatibility
Participate in code reviews agile ceremonies and continuous improvement of engineering practices

Required Skills and amp; Experience

6 years of front-end development experience
Strong hands-on experience with and React (hooks component lifecycle state management)
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript HTML5 and CSS3 (including modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind)
Solid understanding of SSR SSG and client-side rendering trade-offs
Experience consuming REST/GraphQL APIs and integrating third-party services
Familiarity with Git CI/CD pipelines and modern build tooling
Strong grasp of responsive design web performance and accessibility (WCAG) best practices
