Job Summary

Ecolab is looking for a Regulatory Specialist to join our Substance CoE. This role will execute well-described procedures to support substance regulatory activities substance registrations for TSCA and CEPA/DSL that are critical for Ecolabs innovation projects in North America (US & Canada) which have been approved for globalization to the SSC. The role increases scale data quality and efficiency while freeing NA SMEs for strategic and authority-facing work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute defined TSCA (US) and CEPA/DSL (Canada) substance tasks following approved SOPs and system (RIM) workflows that are critical to the innovation and commercialization of Ecolabs products.
  • Maintain and validate substance data inventories and trackers in SAP/EBS and connected systems
  • Perform volume data gathering regulatory survey compilation and routine compliance confirmations
  • Ensure data accuracy traceability and audit readiness
  • Escalate to regional SMEs when activities fall outside approved standardized SOPs or require interpretation judgment or exception handling
  • Support selected global Substance CoE operational initiatives aimed at standardization data quality or process optimization
  • Support SSC work transfer documentation and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (Chemistry Chemical Engineering Regulatory or similar)
  • 5 years of regulatory operations/substance compliance experience
  • Strong data process and documentation discipline
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills and experience working with SAP
  • Experience in global or SSC environments preferred
