Job Summary

Develop and implement regional collection strategies and policies.

Optimize recovery rates and minimize credit losses.

Lead mentor and manage collection managers and regional collection teams.

Set and monitor collection targets across the region.

Analyze collection performance data and implement corrective actions.

Collaborate with sales credit legal and other internal stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines regulations and company policies.

Conduct performance reviews and provide team training and development.

Manage relationships with external collection agencies and legal partners.

Prepare and present collection performance reports to senior management.

Drive process improvements and technological advancements in collection operations.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration Economics or a related field.
MBA preferred.
1012 years of experience in collections.
Minimum 5 years of managerial experience overseeing large teams or regional operations.
Proven experience in retail banking NBFC or financial services collections.
Strong knowledge of Indian collection laws regulations and RBI guidelines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership communication and interpersonal abilities.
Demonstrated success in achieving collection and recovery targets.
Proficiency in collection software and CRM systems.

Qualifications

Masters degree in a relevant field or professional certification in Credit & Collections.
Experience with digital transformation initiatives in collections.
Fluency in multiple Indian regional languages.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
