We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are currently hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Quantity Survey Engineer - Mechanical located in Tamil Nadu. Our client is a reputed organization in the Construction & Industrial Projects sector looking for skilled and motivated professionals to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit accurate client bills and subcontractor billing documents within project timelines.
- Coordinate preparation and submission of ABG PBG RBG insurance and contract-related documentation.
- Process subcontractor and piece-rate contractor work orders in compliance with project requirements.
- Perform quantity surveying and billing activities for LNG Tanks Harbors Quay Wall Industrial Structures and Green Energy projects.
- Monitor work completion versus payments and prepare monthly reconciliation statements.
- Generate material reconciliation reports and liability statements for accounts submission.
- Collaborate with Project Managers QA/QC teams Accounts and Admin departments for billing approvals.
- Ensure timely vendor registration and billing updates through SAP systems.
Required Skills:
- Quantity Surveying: Ability to manage BOQ verification measurement sheets and billing documentation.
- Client Billing: Experience preparing RA bills subcontractor bills and final billing documentation.
- SAP Operations: Knowledge of vendor registration and billing workflow management in SAP.
- Mechanical Project Coordination: Understanding of industrial and marine project billing activities.
- Material Reconciliation: Ability to track material consumption and prepare reconciliation reports.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of EPC project billing procedures
- Experience in Marine & Industrial infrastructure projects
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
Work Experience Requirements:
Candidates should possess 48 years of experience in quantity surveying and billing activities within industrial infrastructure or construction projects. Experience handling client billing subcontractor billing and reconciliation activities for mechanical projects is preferred. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in fast-paced project environments with cross-functional coordination.
Education:
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction materials MEP systems and fit-out specifications. Understanding of project execution strategies and procurement planning. Proficiency in ERP software for procurement tracking and reporting. Hands-on experience in managing LPO cycles (Open & Closed LPOs). Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word Excel). Excellent vendor negotiation and relationship management skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines. Effective communication skills in English and Hindi.
