Quality Manager Senior manager
Job Summary
Maintain full compliance with CAR 21 Subpart G requirements for Production Organisation Approval (POA) and ensure alignment with the Production Organisation Exposition (POE).
Manage the issuance and oversight of Authorized Release Certificates (e.g. DGCA / EASA Form 1) for manufactured products parts and appliances.
Serve as the official liaison to civil aviation authorities (DGCA/EASA) for POA audits significant changes and regulatory reporting.
Manage DOA-POA (Design Organisation Approval Production Organisation Approval) interfaces ensuring production alignment with approved Type Designs (TC/STC/ITSO).
Oversee the mandatory occurrence reporting system (MORS) for identified defects failures or non-conformances in accordance with CAR 21 provisions.
Oversee and continually optimize the plant-wide Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with AS9100 Rev D and CAR 21 Subpart G.
Drive Non-Conformance Management (NCR) Corrective Action Plans (CAPA) and Root Cause Analysis (8D 5-Why Fishbone) for manufacturing defects.
Oversee First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
Maintain calibration control tool management and special process validations.
Establish and execute internal audit programs covering manufacturing lines quality controls and CAR 21 processes.
Lead regulatory and third-party accreditation audits.
Manage the Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) program approving raw material hardware and sub-tier special process vendors to ensure compliance throughout the supply chain.
Lead mentor and build a high-performing quality team comprising QA/QC engineers inspectors and compliance auditors.
Integrate Safety Management System (SMS) principles into the production and quality framework as mandated by CAR 21 regulations.
Establish quality metrics KPIs and reporting structures for executive leadership.
Education: Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) or a related technical discipline.
Experience: 12 years of quality engineering experience in aerospace manufacturing with at least 7 years in a managerial or lead role.
