Job Summary

BG Global is hiring for a leading furniture manufacturing company. Our client is looking for a Quality Head to oversee the quality control and manufacturing quality functions ensuring quality standards are maintained across materials products new product development and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

- Formulate and implement quality policies in line with global furniture quality standards and applicable legal regulations.

- Manage incoming material and component inspection activities and develop and manage new product testing activities.

- Analyse product risks throughout the production lifecycle and recommend preventive actions.

- Monitor and follow up on quality issues arising on the production line and ensure all open non-conformities are closed in a timely manner.

- Build and lead a motivated competent and results-focused Quality team.

- Plan and prioritise inspections to maximise performance and ensure timely deliveries.

- Ensure products undergo stringent quality testing before reaching customers.

- Prepare documentation for internal quality control audits and quality checks.

- Collaborate with Production Sourcing Engineering and Sales teams to resolve quality issues.

- Investigate quality issues identify root causes and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Quality Management Engineering Manufacturing or a related discipline.

- 5 years of experience in quality management preferably within furniture manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment.

- Strong knowledge of quality control manufacturing quality inspection processes and product testing.

- Good understanding of global furniture quality standards and applicable quality regulations.

- Strong knowledge of root cause analysis corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement methodologies.

- Proven experience in leading and developing Quality teams.

- Strong analytical problem-solving communication and leadership skills.
