Quality Engineer
Job Summary
- Conduct comprehensive testing on incoming and finished products overseeing the return process for non-conforming items and implementing corrective actions directly at vendor facilities.
- Execute detailed product audits within the refurbishment production line to verify adherence to quality standards.
- Generate maintain and present accurate quality reports and performance dashboards to stakeholders.
- Travel to customer sites to investigate field issues diagnose root causes and implement immediate corrective measures.
- Visit suppliers to address design-related challenges providing actionable feedback to ensure long-term resolution.
- Analyze field failure data to identify trends and drive strategic initiatives that enhance overall product quality.
- Detect and document product defects collaborating closely with development teams to facilitate swift issue resolution.
- Actively participate in Agile testing ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospective meetings.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to standardize quality processes and drive consistency improvements across all product lines.
- Deliver training to customer service agents regarding quality protocols and product specifications to ensure uniform knowledge application.
- Provide constructive performance feedback to agents to support their professional growth and service quality enhancement.
- Proven ability to conduct rigorous product testing and manage non-conformance workflows.
- Experience in auditing production lines specifically within refurbishment or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in creating and interpreting quality metrics reports and dashboards.
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to investigate field failures and implement corrective actions.
