Job Description

Develops documents and maintains testing standards procedures and guidelines to ensure sound and consistent testing procedures
Performs manual tests of web based applications; is involved through the full life cycle of development including reviewing requirements specifications and designs test planning test execution debugging verification and pilot deployments
Develops testing strategies creates test plans and prioritizes test scenarios
Develops and documents step-by-step test cases based on the software requirements elicited by business analysts
Facilitates all software application testing processes inclusive of user acceptance testing
Oversees the test resource assignments inclusive of user and manual testers as well as automation developers and their allocation across all projects and support demands
Coordinate with geographically distributed functional and technical teams & testing partners during various phases.
Identifies tracks and reports defects; verifies fixes
Troubleshoots issues and helps determine root causes of software problems
Designs a test automation strategy focused on the most critical and dynamic business processes
Gathers test completion metrics to measure the success of the test efforts reports progress with supporting KPIs
Supports the planning and management of all test environments (inclusive of application data OS browser etc.) and the automation test tools and their configuration

Candidate Profile

10 years of experience with system and application implementation testing
Has experience managing/leading a team of testers - Must
Ability to write test plans testing scenarios/test cases/validation checklists
Experience with developing performance test scripts
Experience with manual testing and performance testing tools (JMeter and LoadRunner)
Excellent communication presentation interpersonal skills and good team player
A solid understanding of quality assurance as part of the development and implementation process
Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented and a problem solver
Time management skills and experience working with low oversight
BachelorΓÇÖs degree in technical field
