About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to support a strategic migration initiative from Tosca to Playwright using C#. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation API testing CI/CD implementation and mobile automation along with the ability to work directly with US-based stakeholders.

This role requires hands-on technical expertise ownership of automation deliverables and the ability to contribute to framework design quality engineering best practices and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the migration of Tosca automation scripts to the Playwright C# framework.

  • Design develop and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and test suites.

  • Develop automation solutions for web applications APIs and mobile platforms.

  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to enable continuous testing and deployment.

  • Perform comprehensive API testing and validation using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

  • Implement and maintain mobile automation solutions using Appium and device cloud platforms.

  • Collaborate closely with US-based clients and project stakeholders to provide status updates technical solutions and quality recommendations.

  • Analyze test results identify defects and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

  • Review automation code mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices.

  • Contribute to test strategy quality metrics automation coverage and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • 6 8 years of experience in QA Automation and Quality Engineering.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and C#.

  • Proven experience in automation framework migration projects.

  • Solid experience in API testing using tools such as Postman REST Assured or similar technologies.

  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

  • Experience in mobile automation testing using Appium or equivalent frameworks.

  • Experience working with device cloud platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

  • Strong understanding of Git version control and SQL.

  • Excellent analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience collaborating with US-based clients and distributed teams.

  • Ability to work during US business hours overlap (2:00 PM 11:00 PM IST).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with Tosca-to-Playwright migration projects.

  • Experience in Guidewire or Duck Creek insurance platforms.
  • Exposure to performance testing tools and methodologies.
  • ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
