Profile:Proposal & Estimation Manager

Experience:

• 8 Years preferred; relevant industry experience will be given higher preference
• Candidates with experience in the same or closely related industry will be highly preferred even if their total experience differs from the preferred range.

Roles:

• Lead the complete Proposal & Estimation process.
• Review customer enquiries RFQs tender documents and technical specifications.
• Prepare accurate techno-commercial proposals and detailed cost estimates.
• Understand project scope and prepare costing based on technical requirements.
• Coordinate with Design Purchase Production Projects and Sales teams for required inputs.
• Prepare equipment material fabrication subcontracting and project-related cost estimates.
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations and negotiate pricing.
• Identify project risks and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Ensure proposals meet customer requirements and technical specifications.
• Ensure quotations are prepared and submitted within deadlines.
• Maintain costing databases estimation records and standard pricing sheets.
• Support the Sales team during technical discussions bid clarifications and customer meetings.
• Work on value engineering to improve project competitiveness and profitability.
• Manage and guide the Proposal & Estimation team.

Qualification:

• B.E./. in Mechanical/ ChemicalEngineering or a related engineering discipline.
