- Set measurable milestones for projects as well as continuous goal setting for ongoing programs
- Collect and analyse data to drive project decisions and provide business insights
- Run meetings with partner teams to track progress implement new initiatives and improve existing programs
- Document standards for projects and ensure compliance
- Manage internal and external stakeholders
A day in the life
Every day is different as a Program Manager. Youll work on projects which may be at different stages of the project lifecycle from development to delivery. You might spend your morning gathering data to assess a program pilot then spend your afternoon discussing resourcing plan for another project. You will collaborate with other teams track project progress and share updates with key stakeholders.
Amazon is a data-driven business so part of your role will involve gathering insights to make decisions. Youll trial different ideas analyse data to identify potential challenges and present your findings to senior teams.

Using air sea and road transport as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology youll help Amazons transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. They are key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient.
We put safety first as our people are our priority. And we use the expertise of our people to get packages to their destination quickly conveniently and sustainably.
- 2 years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
