Job Summary
- Role & Responsibilities (What the candidate is supposed to do on the job) :
Preferred: Candidate from production planning of pipe bending process & products fabrication work
Lead day-to-day production operations to achieve safety quality delivery and productivity targets.
Drive production planning and schedule adherence in line with customer demand and forecast.
Ensure effective coordination with PPC SCM Stores Quality and Maintenance for smooth execution of production and dispatch plans.
Monitor manpower machine utilization inventory and process efficiency to optimize operational performance.
Handle customer communication related to production status delivery commitments and schedule changes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen Lean Manufacturing 5S and process standardization.
Analyze production losses rejections downtime and customer issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance to QMS / IATF systems safety standards and Oracle ERP transaction discipline.
Lead and develop shopfloor teams through training discipline and multiskilling initiatives.
Prepare and review daily / weekly MIS related to production OTIF inventory and operational performance.

- Technical / Managerial skills
Hands-on experience in fabrication tube bending and automotive manufacturing processes.
Exposure to Production Planning Capacity Planning and Inventory Management.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Kaizen 5S and Continuous Improvement practices.
ERP knowledge (Oracle / SAP preferred).
Strong leadership problem-solving and customer communication skills.
Ability to handle manpower customer escalations and high-pressure production environments.

MIS reporting related to OTIF production performance and inventory status.

Customer schedules and forecasts.
Material availability and production support inputs from SCM Stores and Purchase teams.
Operational coordination inputs from Production Quality and Maintenance functions.
