Principal Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end design and engineering of ELV systems including:

• Fire Detection & Alarm Systems (FDAS)

• CCTV & Video Surveillance

• Access Control Systems

• Public Address & Voice Evacuation (PAVA)

• Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber)

• BMS / IBMS / DCIM integration

• Intrusion Detection Perimeter Security/Physical Security

• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ELV systems across projects.

• Develop and review Basis of Design (BOD) specifications drawings and BOQs.

• Coordinate with MEP IT Architecture Civil and Client teams for seamless system integration.

• Review and approve vendor submittals technical proposals and shop drawings.

• Support construction testing commissioning and handover activities.

• Ensure compliance with international and local standards (NFPA IEC IS NBC BS TIA/EIA).

• Identify technical risks and implement value engineering and mitigation strategies.

• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level ELV engineers.

• Participate in client meetings design reviews and technical workshops.

• Support proposals estimates and business development activities when required.

• 10 years of experience in ELV system design and delivery.

• Experience on large commercial data center healthcare industrial or infrastructure projects.

• Strong exposure to IP-based and integrated ELV systems.

• Experience working in consultancy and/or EPC environments.

• BIM/Revit exposure preferred.

• Bachelors degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
