Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Developer with strong expertise in database development performance optimization and Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in converting Oracle stored procedures packages and SQL queries to PostgreSQL NoSQL databases while ensuring database reliability scalability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain PostgreSQL database solutions.

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries PL/pgSQL procedures and functions.

• Lead and support Oracle to PostgreSQL database migration activities including stored procedures packages and query conversion.

• Analyze and improve database performance scalability and availability.

• Implement database backup recovery and maintenance strategies.

• Monitor database health and troubleshoot production issues.

• Collaborate with application development teams to integrate database solutions.

• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to database governance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 years of experience in PostgreSQL database development.

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL SQL PL/pgSQL & NoSQL databases

• Proven experience in Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration projects.

• Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.

• Experience with backup recovery and database administration activities.

• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
