Plant Head

Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced and capable Plant Head to oversee and lead the operations of our established plastic thermoware manufacturing plant at Kandla. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in injection molding and extrusion blow molding with strong operational technical and leadership skills to enhance productivity ensure compliance and manage cross functional teams efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations ensuring smooth functioning across production lines quality control maintenance and logistics. Develop and implement production plans that align with demand forecasts and business goals.
Team Leadership & Development: Recruit train and develop a team of engineers technicians and workers fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Lead by example and ensure the team is motivated aligned with business objectives and continuously improving.
Quality Assurance & Compliance: Implement stringent quality control processes to meet industry standards and customer specifications. Ensure the plant complies with health safety and environmental regulations.
Cost Control & Efficiency: Optimize plant processes and production efficiency while maintaining cost controls. Monitor production metrics and KPIs analyze data and identify areas for process improvements and cost reduction.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Manage the sourcing of raw materials coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely availability of inputs for uninterrupted production. Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands without overstocking.
Maintenance & Upkeep: Oversee the maintenance schedule and ensure the plant's machinery and equipment are well-maintained to prevent downtime. Collaborate with maintenance teams for preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Technology & Innovation: Stay updated on advancements in plastic manufacturing technologies and implement innovative solutions to improve processes.
Budgeting & Reporting: Develop and manage the plant's budget ensuring all costs are controlled within approved limits. Provide regular MIS reports to senior management on plant performance productivity and key metrics.
