Position: Planning Engineer

Location: Cochin

Qualification: BTech (Mechanical Electrical Electronics Industrial Engineering or related)

Experience: 8 years of experience in Planning Production Planning Material Planning or Supply Chain Planning. Must have experience in EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) Connectors Cables Wiring Harness or Automotive Manufacturing industries.

Salary: 8–10 LPA

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to manage production planning material planning and inventory control activities to ensure on-time delivery and efficient manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in EMS connectors cables or automotive manufacturing environments and possess excellent analytical coordination and supply chain planning skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily weekly and monthly production plans.
- Ensure raw materials and components are available for production.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores teams to avoid material shortages.
- Monitor production progress and update schedules as required.
- Track customer orders and ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
- Work closely with Production Quality and Supply Chain teams.
- Generate planning and production reports using ERP systems (SAP Oracle etc.).
- Identify and resolve planning or material-related issues.
