About the Role

The successful candidate will teach Physics to ICSE and IGCSE students prepare learners for board examinations and contribute to the schools culture of academic excellence and holistic education.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
  • Plan prepare and deliver engaging Physics lessons aligned with the ICSE and Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
  • Teach Physics to secondary and senior secondary students including board examination classes.
  • Develop inquiry-based practical and concept-driven learning experiences.
  • Integrate laboratory activities demonstrations simulations and technology into classroom instruction.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Board Examination Preparation
  • Prepare students thoroughly for ICSE and IGCSE Board Examinations.
  • Develop structured revision plans mock examinations and assessment schedules.
  • Analyse student performance data and implement intervention strategies to improve academic outcomes.
  • Guide students in examination techniques practical assessments and laboratory skills.
Assessment & Reporting
  • Design formative and summative assessments in accordance with curriculum standards.
  • Evaluate answer scripts objectively and provide timely constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate academic records and student progress reports.
  • Communicate student performance effectively with parents and school leadership.
Student Development
  • Foster critical thinking scientific inquiry and problem-solving skills.
  • Mentor students academically and support their personal development.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom discipline and positive behaviour.
  • Encourage participation in science fairs Olympiads STEM activities and inter-school competitions.
Collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with the Science Department and academic leadership.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings curriculum planning moderation and professional development.
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
  • Undertake residential school responsibilities and co-curricular duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Masters Degree in Physics (. Physics) with . (Mandatory).
  • Additional qualifications in Education or Cambridge professional development will be an advantage.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in ICSE and/or Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Board Examination classes with consistently strong academic results.
  • Experience in conducting Physics practical examinations and laboratory management.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms and modern classroom technologies.
Required Skills
  • Strong subject knowledge in Physics.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
