Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Physics lessons for classes 912 as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare and update lesson plans teaching aids and practical experiment setups.
- Assess student performance through assignments quizzes and examinations and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct laboratory sessions ensuring safety protocols and effective demonstration of concepts.
- Mentor and guide students for competitive exams such as JEE NEET and other entrance tests.
- Participate in faculty meetings school events and professional development workshops.
- Maintain records of attendance grades and other academic documentation accurately.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary projects and promote a holistic learning environment.
Essential Qualifications
- Masters degree or higher in Physics (. / .) from a recognized university.
- Eligibility for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) certification as per state regulations.
- Strong command over the NCERT syllabus and familiarity with CBSE/ICSE guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the regional language of the school.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex concepts and foster critical thinking.
Desired Experience
- Minimum 23 years of teaching experience at the secondary or senior secondary level.
- Proven track record of improving student outcomes in Physics.
- Experience conducting practical labs and managing laboratory resources.
- Exposure to coaching or mentoring students for national-level competitive exams is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and elearning platforms.
