Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging History lessons for Classes XI and XII in accordance with the prescribed NCERT syllabus.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans teaching aids and assessment tools to enhance student learning.
- Conduct regular formative and summative evaluations provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Encourage critical thinking analytical skills and historical research methods among students.
- Organize and supervise cocurricular activities such as debates quizzes history projects and field trips.
- Participate actively in faculty meetings professional development programs and curriculum development initiatives.
- Maintain a disciplined supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with parents colleagues and management to address student needs and promote overall academic excellence.
Essential Qualifications
- Masters degree (M.A.) in History from a recognized university.
- . or an equivalent professional teaching qualification is mandatory.
- Eligibility for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET).
- Proficiency in English and Hindi (both spoken and written) to effectively communicate with students and parents.
Desired Experience
- Minimum 2years of teaching experience at the senior secondary (Class XIXII) level.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate technology and digital resources into History instruction.
- Experience in mentoring students for competitive exams (e.g. UPSC State Civil Services) is a plus.
- Track record of publishing research or articles related to History or education is advantageous.
