Performance Test Engineer
Role: Performance Test Engineer / Performance Test Lead
Experience: 512 Years
Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and execute end-to-end performance testing strategies including load stress and endurance testing.
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools like JMeter (mandatory) LoadRunner and Neoload.
- Analyze test results identify performance bottlenecks and provide actionable insights.
- Perform performance analysis across application database and infrastructure layers.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather non-functional requirements (NFRs) and translate them into test scenarios. JD Word
- Conduct early performance testing to ensure application scalability and stability.
- Prepare detailed performance reports and present findings to stakeholders/clients.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with JMeter (mandatory); exposure to LoadRunner Neoload.
- Experience working with APM tools such as Dynatrace (mandatory) AppDynamics Splunk New Relic Wily.
- Good understanding of protocols: Web (HTTP/HTML) Web Services SAP Web SAP GUI True Client Mobile protocols.
- Experience testing applications built on.NET Java SAP GUI/Web MQ etc.
- Strong scripting skills with ability to write custom code / user-defined functions.
- Experience in heap dump and thread dump analysis.
- Knowledge of JVM and CLR architecture.
- Experience working with Unix/Linux commands (VMSTAT NMON etc.).
- Strong knowledge of SQL queries and tools like SQL Profiler.
- Hands-on experience in monitoring systems (client server DB network load balancer).
- Experience in performance reporting analysis and stakeholder communication.
