Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review daily journal entries and cash reporting ensuring accuracy and flagging discrepancies for management.
- Assist in preparing quarterly and annual reporting packages and financial statements providing insights and identifying key variances.
- Support capital calls and distributions preparation ensuring correctness and timeliness for management approval.
- Review and coordinate the preparation and delivery of capital call and distribution notices ensuring accuracy completeness and clarity while addressing potential client or investor concerns
- Draft and review investor correspondence responding to inquiries and escalating complex issues as needed.
- Manage client investor portals and ensure information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Take ownership of assigned projects including special assignments from management with minimal supervision.
- Mentor or guide junior associates and associates on processes and technical aspects when needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required; CPA license (or in process) preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in accounting systems such as Investran or similar; solid Excel skills.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients investors and team members.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines. Occasional travel (up to 5%) may be required to support business and client needs.
