Pattern Master

Job Summary

The Pattern Master is responsible for creating accurate garment patterns based on design specifications measurement charts and buyer requirements. The role involves pattern development fit analysis sample corrections grading and coordination with the sampling and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop patterns as per design sketches tech packs and buyer specifications.
  
• Prepare first patterns fit patterns and production patterns.
  
• Analyse garment fit and recommend necessary corrections.
  
• Perform pattern alterations based on fit comments and buyer feedback.
  
• Coordinate with designers merchandisers and sampling teams during product development.
  
• Ensure patterns meet quality fit and production requirements.
  
• Prepare size grading for different garment sizes.
  
• Maintain pattern records and development documentation.
  
• Support sample development and bulk production readiness.
  

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of pattern making and garment construction.
  
• Expertise in pattern development grading and fit analysis.
  
• Ability to interpret technical sheets and measurement charts.
  
• Knowledge of woven garment manufacturing processes.
  
• Experience in manual and CAD-based pattern making is preferred.
