Oracle SQL Developer – PLSQL, ETL & Query Optimization

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking an Oracle SQL Developer with 4 years of experience in Oracle SQL PL/SQL database development performance optimization and data role will design develop maintain and optimize database solutions that support business applications reporting data warehousing and operational processes. The position will contribute to business objectives by improving data accuracy query performance database reliability and the efficiency of data extraction and transformation activities.

Software Requirements

Required

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

• Experience using current and supported Oracle Database versions and development tools.

• Strong ability to write complex SQL queries including:

  • Joins.

  • Subqueries.

  • Common table expressions.

  • Analytical functions.

  • Aggregations.

  • Data manipulation statements.

• Experience developing and maintaining stored procedures functions packages triggers views and other database objects.

• Knowledge of query performance optimization execution plans indexing partitioning and database performance analysis.

• Experience working with large datasets and data manipulation techniques.

• Familiarity with ETL processes data extraction transformation loading and validation.

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts including fact tables dimension tables data marts and data models.

• Familiarity with source control code review documentation issue tracking and change management tools.

• Develop enhance and maintain complex SQL queries PL/SQL code stored procedures functions packages views triggers and other database objects.

• Perform data extraction transformation loading reconciliation and validation activities.

• Optimize SQL queries and database performance for large-scale datasets.

• Analyze execution plans identify performance bottlenecks and implement appropriate tuning solutions.

• Apply indexing partitioning query refactoring and data-access improvements where required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development including experience with database performance and data management.

• Certifications in Oracle Database SQL PL/SQL data warehousing ETL or related technologies are preferred.

• Complete Synechron-required training related to information security data protection workplace conduct data governance and responsible technology use.

• Maintain continuous professional development in Oracle SQL PL/SQL query optimization data warehousing ETL database security Agile delivery and data quality practices.
