Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in database development performance tuning and writing efficient PL/SQL code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain PL/SQL packages procedures functions and triggers
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design database solutions
• Handle data migration ETL processes and batch job scheduling
• Prepare technical documentation for database processes and solutions
• Support production issues and provide root cause analysis

Required Skills:

• 4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
• Strong knowledge of SQL query optimization and performance tuning
• Experience with Oracle database (11g/12c/19c or higher)
• Proficiency in writing stored procedures functions packages cursors and triggers
• Familiarity with indexing partitioning and execution plans
• Experience with version control tools (Git/SVN)
• Good understanding of data modeling and normalization concepts
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting is a plus
• Exposure to ETL tools or ODI is an added advantage

Good to Have:

• Experience with Oracle APEX
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for database deployments

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field
