Operations Executive Customs & Foreign Trade
Job Summary
Roles & Responsibilities :
Our company is seeking a highly experienced and qualified Foreign Trade Professional to join our
team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our companys
foreign trade operations including importing exporting logistics and compliance. The ideal
candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in the field of foreign trade
management and a proven track record of success in leading international trade operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage the companys international logistics operations with respect to Customs and Foreign Trade.
Oversee the preparation of all import/export documentation including customs declarations.
Develop and maintain relationships with international customers suppliers and partners to handle Customs Clearances and related activities.
Manage team and provide leadership guidance and training to ensure their continued
professional development.
Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure the smooth flow of goods and information across all aspects of the supply chain.
Monitor and analyze trade data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards including export controls sanctions etc.
Qualifications :
Educational qualification:
Bachelors or Masters degree in International Trade Business Administration or a related field.
Experience :
A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in foreign trade management with a proven track record of success.
Mandatory/requires Skills :
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations including customs regulations export controls and anti-corruption laws.
Demonstrated experience in managing international logistics operations including transportation customs clearance and distribution.
Preferred Skills :
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in relevant computer software including Microsoft Office and trade management software.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluency in English and at least one other language is highly desirable.
