Through a system of intelligent AI agents Oolka helps users track improve and manage their credit health with confidence.

About the role

This is a high-ownership fully hands-on design role - an opportunity to define the product experience design culture and quality standards for a company building AI-first financial products for millions of users.

Youll work closely with founders product leaders and engineers to shape both product strategy and execution - close to the work close to the user and close to the decisions that matter and youll help set the bar for what great design looks like at Oolka. This is an almost entirely IC role with a mentorship component.

What youll do

• Own product design end-to-end - from discovery and user research to final shipped experiences.

• Shape the vision and experience for Oolkas core products and future initiatives.

• Conduct user research and turn insights into product opportunities.

• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to influence product direction.

• Design intuitive AI-powered experiences that build trust and clarity.

• Establish and maintain a high bar for design quality across the company.

• Build scalable design foundations systems and processes.

• Mentor designers on the team and contribute to a strong design culture.
  

What were looking for

• 68 years of product design experience building and shipping consumer products at scale

• Strong B2C product intuition and a deep understanding of user behaviour.

• Excellent product thinking problem-solving and systems thinking skills.

• Exceptional visual design craft with a high bar for quality and attention to detail.

• Experience conducting user research and translating insights into product decisions.

• Proven ability to collaborate closely with Product Engineering and Leadership teams.

• Curiosity about AI and excitement for designing AI-native consumer experiences.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment with high ownership and autonomy.
