NPD Manager – Ethera Diamonds
Location: Jaipur
Experience: 4–8 Years
Job Role
The NPD Manager will handle the development of new lab-grown diamond jewellery designs from the initial idea to the final product.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop new jewellery collections and designs.
- Study market trends and competitor products.
- Coordinate with Design and CAD teams.
- Prepare product details and specifications.
- Manage prototype/sample development.
- Coordinate with factories and vendors.
- Ensure daily proto-production targets are achieved.
- Check gold weight as per specifications.
- Ensure good quality and craftsmanship.
- Give technical inputs for new jewellery settings.
- Check prototypes according to PDI sheets.
- Coordinate with CAD Design Production and Sourcing teams.
- Maintain product and production data in ERP.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Help improve product quality cost and production time.
- Support new product launches.
Required Skills
- 4–8 years of experience in jewellery NPD or production.
- Strong knowledge of diamond and gemstone jewellery.
- Good understanding of jewellery manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of CAD and 3D jewellery models.
- Knowledge of gold weight and jewellery settings.
- Experience in prototype development.
- Good vendor and factory coordination skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage production targets and timelines.
Ideal Candidate
A person who understands jewellery design CAD prototyping manufacturing and can coordinate the complete process from design concept to final commercial product.
