NOV Time Business Support Analyst
Job Summary
The role is accountable for onboarding and supporting the functional tasks required from the system user groups such as Managers Employees Powers Users & HR to ensure the system is being used correctly and will involve creation update and assignment of training onboarding materials communications and user management auditing to ensure end users are performing their tasks in adherence with policy and procedure.
The NOV Time Business Support Analyst will conduct monthly audit activities to ensure timekeeping entries are as required providing local follow up actions as necessary to address missing items or incorrect utilization as identified. A continuous improvement approach will ensure audit outcomes drive future actions regarding training and communications to mitigate identified issues.
The role will work closely with the NOV Time Configuration Team members keeping up to date with systems configuration rules functional upgrades new country roll outs and change management so these can be integrated into the functional end user support activities that the Business Support Analyst provides.
Responsibilities
Support timekeeping period closure user activities such as missing approvals and exceptions clear-outs against the monthly country payroll calendar.
Escalate any technical issues observed to the applicable application support teams.
Performing monthly operational audits of the global timekeeping system for data integrity and user policy compliance criteria as part of a quality control routine.
Following up with local HR & Power Users where audit results and focus areas are identified for monitoring and review with a view to improving end user compliance.
Preparing monthly reports & dashboards on the quality control status for HR Management.
Maintain and deliver to the timekeeping user groups the applicable end user training materials ensuring all users have been onboarded and orienteered in system usage through developing global communications and performing monthly onboarding routines for the various user groups.
Perform virtual training sessions for HR Power Users and other business user groups to ensure effective adoption of the system.
Maintain the global Power User group log for business coverage and change updates.
Work with the Timekeeping Technical Team as well as HR & Payroll groups with the development of the end user training materials to ensure systems utilization is efficient and compliant with an emphasis on continuous improvement and feedback loops from the operational audits.
Perform and document external and internal audit controls around end-user maintenance liaising with local HR stakeholders as required.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Human Resources Information Systems Business Administration or a related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2-5 years of experience supporting HRIS Payroll or Time & Attendance systems.
- Experience supporting global or multi-country HR or payroll processes is preferred.
- Experience delivering end-user training and creating learning materials.
- Experience performing operational audits reporting and compliance reviews.
- Experience working within a shared services or global HR technology environment is advantageous.
- Fluent English language written & spoken
