Network Security Engineer
Responsibilities
Title: Network Security Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and manage firewalls (Palo Alto Fortinet) Swicthes Wireless devices SD-WAN
- Perform rule reviews cleanup and compliance checks on firewall
Analyze and resolve incidents related with firewall wireless Switches SD-WAN
Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
Handle firewall VPN and connectivity-related incidents.
Validate and close incidents within defined SLAs.
Configure and troubleshoot IPSec and SSL VPNs.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6-0 years of experience in network/security domain
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN VLANs).
- Hands-on experience with:
Firewalls (Palo Alto Fortinet )
Wireless devices
Routing and switching
SDWAN
TCP/IP NAT VLANs routing DNS
- Experience in log analysis and packet-level troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident Change Problem Management).
- CCNA / CCNP Security
- Palo Alto PCNSE
Certifications (Preferred)
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and incident reporting skills
- Ability to work under pressure in critical security incidents
- Proactive mindset with attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud network experience
- Automation and orchestration experience
