MS SQLMYSQL DBA IT Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated MS SQL / MySQL DBA IT Analyst to lead the administration optimization and continuous improvement of our database environments. This role combines strong technical expertise with analytical thinking operational excellence and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Own the performance availability security and reliability of Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL database platforms.

Lead database installation configuration upgrades patching backup recovery and disaster recovery initiatives.

Proactively monitor troubleshoot and resolve database performance and production issues.

Partner with application infrastructure and business teams to design scalable and resilient database solutions.

Drive database optimization automation capacity planning and continuous improvement efforts.

Ensure compliance with security governance and data management standards.

Analyze system trends and provide recommendations to enhance performance stability and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and MySQL database administration.

Solid understanding of high availability replication backup/recovery performance tuning and database security.

Experience with scripting automation monitoring tools and database troubleshooting.

Knowledge of cloud and hybrid database environments is highly desirable.

Excellent analytical communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to lead initiatives influence outcomes and work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
