We are seeking an experienced Modeler to join our dedicated team in the Steel team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Modeling with respect to structural drawing & architectural drawings
• Preparation of custom components connections and assemblies in accordance with project and client requirements
• Apply connection detailing and ensure accurate implementation within the 3D model
• Should prepare the 3D model in Tekla in compliance with contract design drawings project specifications and client standards
• Review all input drawings and verify the latest revisions prior to commencing modeling activities
• Interpret and implement RFI responses accurately within the model as per client feedback and clarifications
• Perform preliminary model reviews including clash detection and coordination checks to ensure constructability and accuracy
• Identify potential transportation and erection challenges after model completion and provide practical solutions
• Recognize and apply similar connections and assemblies within the model to improve modeling efficiency and reduce detailing time
• Assign identical assemblies and part marks to similar components to optimize shop drawing quantities and maintain consistency
• Prepare raise and manage RFIs as required during project execution
• Generate General Arrangement (GA) drawings shop drawings erection drawings material reports and NC files from the Tekla model
• Modify and update drawings promptly to meet urgent project requirements and deadlines
• Maintain compliance with project standards client specifications and industry best practices throughout the detailing process
• Take feedback constructively and implement required corrections and improvements in models and drawings based on checker coordinator or client comments

Qualifications:

• Requires minimum 3 years of experience in Structural Steel detailing using 3D modelling program
• Experience developing 3D models using Tekla software with ability to understand all types of structural members including access standards
• Requires experience in Modelling using Tekla structures
• Requires experience in US Commercial Projects
• Should have exposure in any of the codes like CISC & AISC for at least 3 years
• X steel Commercial Projects Tekla Modeler AISC & OSHA
