Job Summary

Job Title: Sr. Executive Quality Gears Chakan

Division Gears Chakan

This position is required to control and manage the metallurgical quality aspect of the components produced. The candidate will be required to work jointly with the production New Product Development and Quality Control team to achieve the metallurgical parameters.

Job Summary:

Testing and Detailed analysis of material.
Ensure heat treatment cycles are done as per specified parameters and desired results are achieved.
Process audits of raw material suppliers to ensure raw material is of desired quality.
Ensure compliance with relevant international standards (e.g. IATF ISO ISO/TS 16949 or other industry-specific standards).
Oversee the execution of audits (internal and external) to verify the effectiveness of the quality system.
Develop and manage the inspection process for raw materials in-process goods and final products.
Collaborate with engineering teams to set up product specifications review designs and develop testing protocols for gears.
Investigate customer complaints related to metallurgical quality and initiate corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualification Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Additional certifications (Six Sigma Black Belt IATF ISO) are highly preferred.

Experience - Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Metallurgy in auto component industry.
