Job Summary
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or post-graduation from reputed college or university.
- 1012 years of experience in HVAC design for Residential Commercial Hospitality industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software (HAP Revit AutoCAD) and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of ASHRAE ISHRAE NFPA and local building codes.
- Excellent analytical communication coordination and leadership skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in large-scale projects such as Residential Commercial Hospitality Airports Hospitals Data Centers or Industrial facilities.
- Familiarity with Revit and BIM workflows
- Sustainable/green building management practices.

The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer Level IIwith Worley you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development:
- Perform heat load calculations equipment sizing and duct/pipe routing/ Shaft sizing etc. using tools like HAP Revit and AutoCAD.
- Prepare detailed HVAC design drawings schematics and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with ASHRAE ISHRAE NFPA NBC and local codes.
- Coordination & Documentation:
- Collaborate with architects structural engineers and other MEP disciplines for integrated design solutions.
- Review shop drawings and ensure alignment with design intent.
- Prepare BOQs technical reports and design presentations for client approvals.
- Energy Efficiency & Sustainability:
- Incorporate green building principles and energy-efficient technologies in designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies for innovative HVAC solutions.
- Validate designs through simulations and performance analysis.
- Support value engineering exercises to optimize cost without compromising quality.
- Critical Areas of experience:
- Hot aisle / cold aisle containment design.
- CFD airflow modeling experience
- Chilled water redundancy philosophy (N1 2N)
- CRAH vs CRAC selection logic
- High-density rack cooling (30 kW/rack)
- Liquid cooling readiness exposure
- PUE optimization strategy involvement
- Free cooling & economizer logic integration
- Experience in phased build-out of data halls
- Commissioning & integrated load bank testing exposure
