Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Material Manager to handle
procurement and material planning for trolley bag manufacturing operations at our SM
Travel Gear factory. The candidate must have hands-on experience in sourcing and
purchasing raw materials used in luggage/trolley manufacturing and should be from the
same or related industry only.

purchasing raw materials used in luggage/trolley manufacturing and should be from the
same or related industry only.
Key Responsibilities
Handle procurement of raw materials for trolley and luggage manufacturing.
Source vendors for:
o Polycarbonate / ABS sheets
o Fabric & lining
o Trolley systems
o Wheels handles locks & accessories
o Aluminum frames & fittings
o Packaging materials
o Aluminum frames & fittings
o Packaging materials
Negotiate prices payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Ensure uninterrupted material availability for production.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse & production teams.
Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
Prepare purchase orders and track material inward timelines.
Ensure quality compliance of purchased materials.
Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment follow-ups.
Maintain cost control and optimize procurement efficiency.
Required Skills
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
Good knowledge of trolley/luggage manufacturing raw materials.
Experience in ERP or inventory management systems.
Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
Ability to work under production deadlines.
Candidate Requirements
Male candidate preferred.
Minimum 5 7 years of relevant experience.
Must be from luggage travel gear backpack handbag or related manufacturing
industry.
Candidates from unrelated industries will not be considered.
Immediate joiners preferred.
Education
Graduate preferred.
Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Materials Management or related field will be
an added advantage.
Reporting To
Factory / Operations Head
Preferred Companies Background
Candidates from luggage/travel gear brands or manufacturing units such as trolley
bags backpacks handbags or export houses will be preferred.
