As a Senior Manufacturing Technician will contribute to the manufacturing of products that support diagnostics and scientific innovation. By maintaining the highest standards of quality safety and operational excellence you will help deliver reliable products that positively impact customers and patients worldwide.
- Perform manufacturing and production activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) work instructions and batch records.
- Operate inspect clean and perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment while ensuring product quality and process efficiency.
- Accurately complete manufacturing documentation and maintain compliance with quality and safety requirements.
- Handle raw materials components and finished goods in accordance with established procedures.
- Identify communicate and support resolution of production issues by collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe manufacturing environment in compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies and company standards.
- Bachelors Degree in Electronics Instrumentation Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with a minimum of 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience are eligible to apply.
- Experience in manufacturing production operations or a related technical environment.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment ( or equivalent).
- Experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) work instructions and quality management procedures.
- Ability to follow written procedures SOPs work instructions and batch records with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical instrumentation and electronic systems with the ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications and electronic manufacturing/documentation systems.
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt to changing production priorities.
- Strong commitment to quality safety compliance and continuous improvement.
- Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses gloves lab coats hair coverings and safety footwear.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while adhering to all safety quality and regulatory requirements.
- Flexibility to work different shifts weekends overtime and holidays based on business needs.
- Willingness to travel or work at customer locations and other Thermo Fisher manufacturing sites as required.
