Job Overview:
We are looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support production by improving manufacturing processes solving production issues and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate should have experience in manufacturing process improvement and Lean practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the production team with daily manufacturing activities.
- Identify and solve production and quality issues.
- Prepare and update manufacturing documents such as SOPs Work Instructions (WI) Control Plans PFMEA and Safety Instructions.
- Work with Production and Quality teams to improve processes.
- Support new product launches and production setup.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and maintain 5S on the shop floor.
- Train production supervisors and line leaders on new processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety quality and environmental standards.
- Use problem-solving tools like 5 Why and PFMEA to identify root causes.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and manage critical spare parts.
- Assist with internal and customer qualification sample builds.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and process improvement.
- Experience preparing SOPs Work Instructions Control Plans and PFMEA.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
- Experience using ERP systems is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Good communication documentation and teamwork skills
