Job Title: Senior Consultant - Manual Testing
Location: BLR ATC Bengaluru
Years of Experience: 5-7 Years
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant with a strong background in Manual Testing to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in manual testing methodologies and will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide feedback on testability.
- Document and report defects track their status and verify fixes.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
- Mentor junior team members in testing best practices and methodologies.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience in Manual Testing with a strong understanding of testing methodologies.
- Ability to create detailed test plans and test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in Manual Testing.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB) are a plus.
