As our Tax Manager based in Pune you will be the driving force behind our tax strategy and compliance across all India entities. You will partner with business leaders advise on complex transactions and ensure we remain fully compliant while optimizing our tax position. This is a role where technical expertise meets real business impact.
What Youll Do
- Manage all direct tax indirect tax and transfer pricing compliance for India entities ensuring accuracy and timely submissions across income tax returns GST filings WHT and advance tax obligations.
- Lead tax assessments and litigation matters related to corporate tax indirect tax and transfer pricing mitigating risks proactively.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the companys tax position design tax-efficient structures and minimize tax leakage.
- Provide tax advisory support on M&A transactions group restructurings partnerships new investments and divestments highlighting key risks and opportunities.
- Support group reporting obligations including CbCR BEPS requirements and Pillar Two developments.
- Monitor regulatory changes in Indian and international tax law circulate updates and ensure timely implementation across the organization.
- Drive improvements in tax processes support automation initiatives and train finance staff on tax compliance best practices.
What You Bring
- Chartered Accountant qualification with approximately 6 years of post-qualification experience in direct tax and international tax (Big Four background preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge of Indian tax laws transfer pricing regulations and international tax frameworks including double tax treaties.
- Proven experience advising on M&A partnership structuring and complex cross-border transactions.
- Hands-on experience managing tax assessments audits and litigation proceedings.
- Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SAP (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex tax matters into clear business advice.
- A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
