Job Description – Contracts Manager (Real Estate) Position Title: Contracts Manager Department: Projects / Contracts Industry: Real Estate / Construction Location: Mumbai Suburbs Reporting To: Head – Projects / Management Job Purpose: To manage and oversee all contractual aspects of real estate and construction projects including drafting reviewing negotiating administering contracts and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Key Responsibilities: Draft review negotiate and finalize contracts with vendors contractors consultants and suppliers. Manage tendering bidding and contract award processes. Ensure all contracts comply with legal commercial and company standards. Monitor contract performance timelines deliverables and obligations. Coordinate with project procurement legal finance and site teams for contract execution. Handle variations amendments claims disputes and contract closures. Maintain proper documentation and records of all agreements and correspondence. Analyze project risks related to contracts and suggest mitigation measures. Ensure timely certification billing coordination and payment tracking as per contract terms. Support management in cost control and commercial decision-making. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of contract management and construction agreements. Understanding of real estate and construction industry practices. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Knowledge of tendering and procurement processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and documentation management. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Law / Business Administration or related field. Additional certification in Contracts Management will be preferred.
