About the Role
Team Lead Account Management
We are seeking a driven customer-centric people leader to own the Account Management strategy for Amazon Australias vendor portfolio through the Vendor Success Program (VSP). This role serves as a team leader managing a team of Account Managers responsible for driving business growth vendor satisfaction and operational excellence. The candidate will own end-to-end vendor performance from joint business planning through execution partnering with Retail category teams Vendor Services AU MVM team and cross-functional stakeholders to unlock selection merchandising and revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity operates as a business owner who can identify growth levers and operationalize them across their team and works across site merchandising buying inventory management finance operations and marketing. They are at their best when building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional customer and vendor outcomes at scale.

Key job responsibilities
and develop a team of Account Managers setting clear priorities removing blockers and providing escalation support to drive vendor and category performance.
the business inputs for assigned product families identifying levers to accelerate growth and improve end-customer experience.
and execute strategic joint business plans with vendors driving new selection merchandising and operational improvement opportunities at scale.
with AU Retail category teams Vendor Services and Operations to align on category priorities close selection gaps and execute promotional strategies.
and track success metrics including GMS growth vendor satisfaction operational health and team input metrics establishing mechanisms for continuous improvement.
data-driven processes guardrails and mechanisms to manage vendor complexity and enable efficient resource allocation across the team.
as a thought leader in defining vendor success criteria contributing to strategic plans and organizational documents that shape the AU tail & torso vendor management roadmap.
recruiting talent development and team culture building a high-performing team that delivers results while raising the bar on operational standards.

About the team

- Bachelors degree
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience using analytical account management and productivity tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence SalesForce Tableau or similar

- 4 years of team management experience
- Experience successfully managing dynamic account portfolios
- MBA
