Position Summary

• Develop test and maintain applications usingCOBOL CICS VSAMIDMS and SORT Utilities
• Support enhancements maintenance and bug fixes for existing mainframe applications
• Participate incode reviews testing and debugging activities
• Collaborate with senior team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical tasks
• Assist withproduction support including issue investigation and resolution
• Participate in anon-call support rotation including occasional weekends or off-hours
• Contribute toAPI and integration effortsas part of modernization initiatives
• Follow established development standards processes and documentation practices
• Collaborate effectively with team members across geographies including onshore partners
• Continuously build knowledge of mainframe technologies tools and business processes

• 24 years of experience (or equivalent academic/project experience) in software development
• Foundational knowledge of:
  • COBOL
  • CICS
  • VSAM
  • IDMS
  • SORT utilities
• Understanding ofbatch and online processing concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effectivecommunication skills with the ability to work in a global team environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Exposure tomainframe environmentsthrough internships coursework or prior experience
• Familiarity withRPG / Lotus Notesapplication development is a plus
• Basic understanding ofAPIs or integration concepts
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
• Awareness of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices

• Location:Bangalore India
• Hybrid work model:Combination of onsite and remote work(as defined by team needs)
• Participation in ashared on-call rotation with support from experienced team members
