Docusign is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our Product Led Growth team. You will execute on all aspects of the software development lifecycle for our e-commerce application. You thrive in fast-paced environments solving difficult problems using current technologies and tools. You collaborate well with team members when brainstorming designing and implementing new solutions. Finally you enjoy helping the team succeed through process improvements mentorship and modeling engineering best practices.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Engineering Manager Commerce Services.

Responsibility

• Write high-quality code primarily in C# that is easy to maintain and test

• Maintain and develop automated tests for your code

• Participate in an Agile environment using Scrum software development practices automated unit testing CI/CD code reviews version control systems (GIT)

• Raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments

• Diagnose and resolve production impacting issues and maintain the code as needed

• Set up telemetry and monitoring on production applications and services

• Be responsible for complete backend development of new features

• Work with and across organizations to help architect complete end-to-end backend solutions

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Basic

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

• Strong object-oriented design and programming skills

• 10 years of professional experience building scalable and testable APIs in C#/.Net or Java

• Hands-on professional experience integrating with both internal and external APIs

Preferred

• Experience with GraphQL

• Experience with NoSQL

• Knowledge of Azure/Azure DevOps Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience in designing and implementing high performance Microservices using REST/gRPC

• Passion for learning and working with new technologies

• Experience with product development and building large scale web applications

• Care deeply about writing high-performance reusable code for components that will be used across our product

• Experience designing and developing highly scalable consumer-facing APIs

• Familiarity with front end web technologies

• Familiarity with SaaS eCommerce and multichannel web marketing
