Lead Python Developer

• 6 years of relevant Python development experience in production environments.

• Advanced proficiency in Python and Python-based backend development.

• Strong experience with Django Flask and/or FastAPI.

• Strong understanding of software architecture design patterns and system design for complex/distributed applications.

• Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases including data modeling schema design and performance optimization.

• Strong experience designing and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs including authentication authorization and API versioning.

• Strong proficiency with Git CI/CD pipelines and Docker.

• Strong understanding of unit testing integration testing test automation and code quality standards.

• Proven experience in a technical leadership role such as Tech Lead Team Lead or equivalent.

• Experience mentoring engineers conducting code reviews and providing technical direction.

• Experience making architectural and technical decisions for scalable reliable and maintainable systems.

• Strong experience with performance optimization scalability technical debt and production troubleshooting.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working with product owners architects business representatives and cross-functional teams.

• Strong leadership ownership and decision-making skills including the ability to drive initiatives and make technical trade-offs.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum practices including estimation sprint planning and delivery tracking.

• Strong English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate or higher) both written and verbal.

• Collaborative and inclusive approach with a focus on knowledge sharing constructive feedback and team development.

• Practical experience with AWS Azure or GCP for deploying and operating Python services. Emphasize on AWS.

• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

• Advanced experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

• Experience with React or frontend/backend integration.

• Experience supporting hiring onboarding and professional development of engineering team members.
