Lead Platform Engineer

Were looking for a Lead Platform Engineer who can drive initiatives that improve developer experience (DevEx) accelerate release cycles and build scalable internal platforms.

This role is a hands-on engineering and strategy with strong emphasis on building tools frameworks and platforms that directly impact developer velocity.

• Lead the Platform Engineering (Developer productivity) team setting up the vision and execution roadmap.

• Design and build internal tools/platforms that optimize CI/CD testing frameworks and infrastructure automation.

• Drive adoption of cloud-native solutions (Kubernetes AWS ephemeral environments service monitoring tools).

• Partner with engineering leaders to align developer experience initiatives with org-wide goals & OKRs.

• Champion best practices around continuous delivery developer efficiency and operational excellence.

• Evangelize teams work internally (workshops training cross-team adoption) and externally (conferences blogs OSS).

• Mentor engineers foster innovation and build a culture of experimentation & learning.

• 6 years in software engineering with at least 2 years in platform/dev productivity roles.

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes AWS CI/CD pipelines Spinnaker/Jenkins/ArgoCD IaC.

• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks dynamic test selection code quality gates.

• Strong coding skills in Go Python or Java (Go preferred for tooling/frameworks).

• Experience designing ephemeral environments monitoring/observability tools.

• Proven track record of leading small teams mentoring engineers and driving large-scale initiatives.

• A background in Google Summer of Code (GSoC) or any open-source software (OSS) contributions would be a huge plus. Alternatively having built something really cool to solve a difficult pain point for engineers or anything that helped ship things faster for the company or the OSS community would also be great.
