Lead Engineer
Job requirements
- Develop and enhance AEM components templates workflows Sling Models Servlets and OSGi services to deliver scalable content management solutions.
- Build responsive and reusable UI components using JavaScript/TypeScript HTML5 and CSS3 ensuring optimal user experience across devices.
- Integrate applications and components with AEM and REST APIs for seamless frontend-backend communication.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects production issues and performance bottlenecks to maintain high system reliability.
- Support deployments releases testing and application maintenance ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
- Perform unit testing debugging and code reviews to uphold code quality and best practices.
- Expertise in Java and Spring Boot for backend development
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites Components Templates HTL/Sightly
- Proficiency in Sling OSGi and JCR for AEM development
- Strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript for modern front-end development
- Advanced proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 for responsive UI design
- Experience integrating REST APIs with frontend and backend systems
- Version control using Git
- Build automation with Maven or npm/yarn
- Experience with Content & Experience Fragments in AEM
- Knowledge of Dispatcher CDN and caching fundamentals
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Understanding of security best practices in web and microservices development
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a closely related discipline
- Certification in Java programming or Spring Framework (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer Spring Professional Certification)
- Certification in Adobe Experience Manager (e.g. Adobe Certified Expert AEM Sites Developer)
Experience Range: With at least 4 years of experience in Java fullstack development including hands-on expertise in microservices architecture and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions. Key Responsibilities:
