Lead Engineer – Customer application Engineer

Conducts pre-sales technical activities for GridBeats Asset Management solutions driving customer engagement solution strategy and business growth across global markets. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders translating business needs into value-driven digital solutions.

Provide technical leadership throughout the sales cycle supporting opportunity development solution definition proposal execution and successful transition to project delivery. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Asset Management solutions while contributing to strategic business initiatives and customer success

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sales activities for GridBeats Asset Management solutions developing customer-focused solution strategies that align business requirements with product capabilities and operational objectives.
• Drive technical proposal development customer presentations workshops demonstrations and proof-of-concept activities for complex opportunities.
• Act as a trusted advisor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing technical guidance to customers and internal stakeholders while supporting strategic account growth and business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales Product Management Engineering and Delivery teams to ensure successful solution positioning risk assessment project handover and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of methodologies reusable assets and best practices while mentoring team members and promoting technical excellence across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Service Engineering. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• Significant experience in Asset Management Industrial Software Digital Solutions or Utility Operations.
• Proven experience in technical pre-sales solution consulting or application engineering.
• Experience managing complex customer engagements and proposal processes.
• Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English both written and verbal.
